A wedding at the Little Brown Church instantly becomes a charming piece of California history. This historic chapel, which was built in the late 1930’s, has been the location of over 23,000 weddings. One of our most famous couples to marry here was former President Ronald Reagan and his wife, Nancy.
We will do everything possible to help you plan for your marriage as well as your wedding. A wedding is not a performance, but an occasion to worship God in celebration of your love and commitment to each other. This website is intended to help you plan your wedding at Church of the Valley or the Little Brown Church in such a way that the life-long meaning of your marriage will be celebrated on your special day.

Both Church of the Valley and Little Brown Church proudly perform LGBTQ+ weddings. We can also help you plan a baby dedication or memorial service.

We have two very different locations, however, both are conveniently located in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles County.
Locations, Pricing, & Packages
To secure the date and time for your special occasion at the Little Brown Church or Church of the Valley, we require a
$250 non-refundable deposit. This deposit will be included in the total price.
If you want to book your special occasion on a SUNDAY or HOLIDAY, an additional fee will be added as follows:
$300 for Little Brown Church and $600 for Church of the Valley

Our most popular location is the Little Brown Church!
The chapel holds a maximum of 125 guests. Each wedding includes the minister, organist, wedding host, and access to the church and the dressing room for one hour prior to the service and one half hour after the service.

The Little Brown Church has had it’s doors open for over 60 years and has provided the community with a quiet place for prayer and meditation. You may view the chapel in person at any day between 8:00AM - 10:00PM.

Church of the Valley
in Van Nuys, CA
Built in the 1920s, Church of the Valley has historical charm as well!
Our sanctuary is surrounded by beautiful stained glass windows and is perfect for morning, afternoon or evening weddings. Our landscaped courtyard is lovely for photos.
Our sanctuary seats 400 guests, and each wedding includes the minister, organist, wedding host, and access to the church and the dressing room for one hour prior to the service and one half hour after the service.
For an additional charge, we can provide a reception area, professional musicians, soloists, sound, and security.
